Animal Planet

I am sure she meant well. Just like when they say wild animals are more afraid of you than you are of them. It is meant to put you at ease in a dangerous situation, and to cast aside every shred of knowledge you have gained watching Animal Planet. They mean well but you know how this is going to end. They are wild animals protecting their territory, you are intruding and only one of you will live to see another day. This is why I was not put at ease when she said, “My husband won’t mind if you take me to dinner.”
