Starting with this week’s blog entry I will be posting the whole post on Instagram and Facebook. April marks two years of What’s Shaking Man and it took me this long to realize that for every five likes of my links and teasers there is only one hit on my website! I get it, you got things to do, and jumping from IG and FB to a link in my bio and then back to IG or FB to finish catching up with friends and followers takes time. I appreciate you paying any attention, but now I am going to put in your face…

If you re one of the few with nothing better to do, you can still go to my website and read the blog…Oh. yeah - I do not like the term “Blog”. It sounds like something that gets stuck in your esophagus - something that is symptom of PD. Here are some other ideas for naming it:

“Journal” reminds of something my therapist might assign when she is tired of telling me the same thing over and over. “Journal it out, Steve.”

“Diary” - what am I? A sixth grade girl?!

“Logbook” is just blog with the O-O-K. Ook!

“Yarn” implies spinning (a.k.a. embellishing, lying) and what am I? My grandmother?!

“Testament” - I will leave that to stories about Jesus Christ and God. After all I am no prophet.

“Case Notes” - what am I? A person writing notes about symptoms and and disease progress for others? As a matter of fact, I am!

So along with adding the entire text of my blog to the IG and FB post, I will be changing to use the term “Case Notes.” Get used to changes because In the coming year there will be other changes and additions to the website…so stay tuned.
